PRP Skin Rejuvenation

PRP therapy is a technology of using plasma to activate the patient's own platelets, which in turn stimulate and accelerate the processes of tissue repair. 15 years of research have proved the universality, safety and effectiveness of plasma therapy and made it possible to actively use it in various fields of medicine, including cosmetology.

The PRP microinjection procedure is recommended as a preventive measure:

  • From the age of 25 to reduce age-related changes.

  • From the age of 45 to rejuvenate and correct.

The Smart Health Medical clinic provides PRP therapy to solve age-related cosmetic problems and inflammatory and vascular diseases of the skin of the face. We produce platelet-enriched plasma on modern certified equipment, carry out the PRP-therapy procedure carefully and practically painlessly. The technique works quickly and has a long-term effect.

What are the PRP Facial Benefits?

  • Improves skin tone, texture and quality

  • Reduces fine wrinkles and age spots

  • Replenishes volume loss and increases collagen production

  • Reduces the harmful effects of sunlight

  • Increases skin elasticity

  • Eliminates crow's feet

  • Minimizes acne scars

PRP procedure can also be used for skin rejuvenation on all areas of the body including the chest, neck and hands.

We are now offering not only PRP injections, but also a painless, but equally effective method of facial rejuvenation PRP Laser Phoresis. Laser phoresis is a non-injection method of percutaneous administration of biologically active substances by exposure to low-level laser illumination. We use the most effective and safe laser technologies from the world leader SRC Matrix. The doctor makes an assessment of the health and condition of the skin before the procedure. Not all skin types are suitable for laser phoresis.

PRP Procedure

The procedure consists of several stages:

  • Blood sampling from the patient. It is carried out from the ulnar vein, the volume can be from 20 to 100 ml, depending on the treated area of the body and the duration of the course.

  • Production of enriched plasma. In our clinic, centrifugation is performed in two stages according to the latest protocols approved by the USFDA: first plasma and shaped elements are separated, heavy shaped elements (lymphocytes and erythrocytes) are removed from the blood. After the first scrolling, the plasma is concentrated to such an extent that the platelet content per milliliter of blood is 5-6 times higher than the patient's natural level. Next, the patient's plasma is scrolled again to increase the concentration of platelets. The patient is injected with only the part of the plasma that is most concentrated. The drug is diluted with heparin, which prevents platelet aggregation (gluing).

  • Administration of the drug to the selected area (depending on the purpose of therapy, enriched plasma can be injected into the joint, under the skin or intradermally).

Getting back into your body, concentrated platelets begin to actively stimulate the growth of new cells. Fibroblasts and muscle fibers are sensitive to growth factors. An increase in their number increases the elasticity of the skin, allows you to restore damaged areas of muscles, fascia, joint structures, strengthen the hair bulb in the bed.

Since the growth factor promotes the strengthening and growth of blood vessels, PRP therapy improves blood supply to tissues, thereby achieving a better metabolism, including gases, which allows you to return a rich, healthy color to the fading skin, to cope with acne and furunculosis.

In plastic surgery, this method is used in the postoperative period for the healing of surgical wounds, resorption of scars, in combination with antiseptics – to prevent inflammatory processes.

The question of the need for PRP therapy for each individual patient is decided by the doctor. The procedure is injectable, so it is important to prepare for its implementation, to exclude the presence of diseases that are contraindications.

Course Duration

The effect of PRP-therapy injections manifests itself gradually and becomes noticeable a day after the first application. Plasma therapy stimulates active skin renewal, the face becomes smooth and radiant. The minimum course is three sessions in the first three months. Further, the course is individual, from one to three procedures per year are required to maintain the result, depending on age and skin type.

The PRP therapy technique is compatible with other cosmetic procedures. The procedure using plasma enriched with growth factors can be supplemented with injections of hyaluronic acid to enhance the effect.

PRP Hands

Our hands, like our face, acquire signs of aging with time. Therefore, modern cosmetology considers hand rejuvenation to be as important as facial rejuvenation.

Most women are concerned about the aging of the face and neck, forgetting that the hands also talk about age. Therefore, they should also be given special attention. Over the years, the skin on the hands also acquires signs of aging in the form of age spots, veins and tendons become more clearly visible, signs of swelling and inflammation of the joints are visible. Manicure and jewelry attract attention to the hands, so a presentable appearance will not be complete without beautiful well-groomed hands. For this purpose, PRP therapy is used - the introduction of platelet-rich plasma. The procedure stimulates blood flow and lymph flow, restores tissues and improves collagen production. This is an excellent anti-aging method.

The procedure can be repeated several times within a month, and the maximum effect becomes visible after 2-6 months, depending on the condition and individual characteristics of the body. During this time, new proteins are produced that make the skin elastic, young, not giving out age. As scientific studies have shown, the effect of plasma administration persists for up to a year.

To obtain a fast, stable and pronounced effect, PRP therapy of the hands is combined with other procedures used for rejuvenation. The method is perfectly combined with injections of hyaluronic acid, nutrients (mesotherapy), massage and peels.

BEFORE  AFTER

BEFORE  AFTER

The rejuvenating effect of PRP therapy of the skin of the hands has been confirmed by scientific studies conducted at the Mayo Clinic (USA). During the experiment, 20 women aged 45 years and older underwent a course of three injections with an interval of 4 weeks. After that, the participants of the experiment were assessed the condition of their hands and measured the number and depth of wrinkles.
The results were impressive. The number of wrinkles decreased by half, and their depth decreased by four times. When combining PRP therapy with the introduction of hyaluronic acid, the participants of the experiment noted a significant decrease in the external signs of aging. 70% indicated the disappearance of unpleasant symptoms caused by arthritis, arthrosis and other inflammatory processes of the hands.

Safety of PRP Procedure

The introduction of platelet–enriched plasma is one of the safest and most effective anti-aging procedures. In the history of medical and surgical literature, no complications have been reported with the use of PRP.

The safety of the technique is explained by several reasons:

The procedure does not involve the administration of drugs and chemicals.

During the procedure, only the blood taken from the patient is used. Therefore, the injected plasma is perfectly accepted by tissues. The procedure has practically no contraindications. It can not be carried out with inflammatory processes and purulent foci on the skin, pregnancy, poor health, elevated temperature. It is not done with a tendency to keloid scars — skin changes accompanied by the appearance of rough scar tissue in response to injections and other effects. In other cases, PRP- therapy of the hands will only benefit, allowing you to literally look great "to the tips of your nails".

Double Centrifugation Protocol

Our clinic uses the protocol of the last fifth (5G) generation to prepare a plasma preparation. This 5G protocol makes it possible to obtain platelet-rich plasma, the concentration of platelets in which is six times higher than in the original clot. In protocols where only one tube of whole blood is used and centrifuged only once, the result is always a clot containing approximately 90% of platelets in the volume of collected blood. According to the 5G protocol, several vials of blood are collected in tubes with anticoagulant, and platelets are separated during the first centrifugation. Then the plasma collected in new tubes is centrifuged a second time. This causes the platelets to end up at the bottom of the tube, leaving all the plasma at the top of the tube. The plasma (amounting to 50% to 70% of the volume) is removed, and the platelets are distributed in the remaining plasma, thus creating a concentrate with a higher platelet content than the one in the first test tubes. For clarity, we conducted an experiment in the clinic: 1 drop of plasma was placed on three slides before centrifugation (1), after one scroll (2) and after 2 scrolls (3). Then these glasses were examined under a light microscope with a magnification of 1000 times.

The photos show how much the concentration of platelets in the last drop has increased (photo 3). It is due to this that the effect of therapy in our patients is several times higher than in patients who had the old protocols. Accordingly, the number of repetitions decreases and the period between courses increases.

PRP Hair Loss Treatment

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a non-surgical procedure to restore hair growth, which is best used to treat thinning hair and slow or stop the progression of hair loss. Hair loss can be an extremely unpleasant experience, and it can affect your self-esteem.

PRP treatment can help to cope with both male/female pattern baldness and alopecia, as it stimulates the growth of existing hair follicles, making your hair more lush and healthy, without resorting to surgery. Thus, it is the most natural way to stimulate hair growth.

Indications:

  • Alopecia (nested, diffuse, androgenetic).

  • Deterioration of the condition of the hair (brittle, thin hair).

  • Severe hair loss (for example, after various diseases, stress, prolonged staining).

  • Diseases of the scalp (dermatitis, etc.).

  • Before and after the hair transplant procedure.

Result:

  • Increased microcirculation of the scalp.

  • Improvement of tissue nutrition.

  • Restoring the metabolism of the scalp.

  • Stimulation of cells.

  • Stimulation of hair follicles, awakening of "sleeping" hair follicles.

  • Stimulation of new hair growth.

  • Hair strengthening.

We offer standard treatment of only PRP, as well as a more innovative method - a combination of PRP and laser therapy. In this case, the laser acts as an additional stimulator of reparative and metabolic processes in tissues. The combined use of these two techniques allows you to achieve the best result in the shortest possible time. Plasma therapy and laser work synergistically, that is, they enhance each other's effects at times. Thereby helping to reduce the number of procedures without losing quality.

PRP+Laser Hair Loss Treatment

A combined program using two techniques allows you to achieve the best result in the shortest possible time. Plasma therapy and laser work synergistically, that is, they enhance each other's effects at times. Thereby helping to reduce the number of procedures without losing quality.

Step 1

PRP therapy - an injection procedure involving the introduction of the patient's own plasma enriched with platelets into the scalp, aimed at accelerating regeneration and stimulating the growth of their own cells.

Step 2

Laser therapy - low-intensity laser illumination that causes activation of metabolic processes, contributes to an increase in protein content, activates the proliferation of fibroblasts in the epidermis and dermis.

Low-intensity laser illumination is a non-specific stimulator of reparative and metabolic processes in tissues. Low-intensity laser illumination of the optical range, including infrared, visible and ultraviolet lights, is used for therapeutic and preventive purposes. The scalp is exposed to the light.

Under the influence of red light (typical wavelength 625 nm), the main molecule of the cell responsible for energy metabolism is ATP (adenosine triphosphate) triggers a chain of cellular metabolic reactions that promote the synthesis of active substances and increase the energy status of tissues.

As a result after gentle biostimulation, the blood circulation of the scalp is activated, the metabolism is restored, thanks to which the growth of healthy hair is resumed.
